4 The Event:
“Six Days Crazy Job” is an open competition from the Bulgarian X-enduro Championship.
The competition is divided into the following classes:
- Motorcycles “Pro” – Single
- Motorcycles “Expert” – Single / Team
- Motorcycles “Hobby”- Single / Team
- ATV “Expert” – Single
- ATV “Hobby” – Single
- Women (ATV / Motorbikes)
- Senior (45+) – Single
- A Team can only be made up of two competitors from the same class and only for participants of the international part of the competition.
- Expert Class tracks will be hardest and between 100 and 150 km per day.
- Hobby Class tracks will be less difficult and between 60 and 120 km per day.
- Womens Class, will be easier and vary between 60 and 120 km per day.
Race Entry: on-line – Registration form (binding) – from 01.12.2016
On Site Registration: Hotel Zornica, Kazanluk, Bulgaria (GPS point: N42 37.555, E25 24.104 ) – 12/08/2016 from 12:00 to 24:00 & 13/08/2016 from 8:00 to 11:00
At Registration you should:
- Hand in your GPS to receive the tracks
- Pay the entry Fee – 400 euro
20.00 briefing, acceptance of GPS, for entering of the track;
8:00-11:00 hrs: Registration
14:00 hrs: Formal opening in the City
15:00 hrs: Start of Prologue
18:00 hrs: Awards of Prologue
21:00 hrs: Briefing, acceptance of GPS, for entering of the track
09:00 hrs: Start of first stage Navigation. The starting date shall be determined upon classification from the prologue;
Time for passing of the track – 6 hours;
The stage is valid for ranking in Bulgarian X-enduro Championship too.

09:00 hrs: Second Stage of navigation. The start is in accordance with the total time cumulative till Monday.

Driving Licence: all competitors must produce their driving license during registration
(actually not requested and riders under 16 regularly ride this event)
Motorcycle and ATV Specification:
Both 2T and 4T single cylinder and twin cylinder motorcycles/ATV can participate in the competition. All the machines must be in full working order and the noise from the exhaust must not exceed 96 dB
Each competitor must have fuel for at least 70km. The refueling is done at the specially aimed for that spots of the track;
The refueling is done only when engine is entirely extinguished.
Smoking during refueling is absolutely forbidden!
Repairs during the competition days is permitted, the competitor can replace all the parts of the machine except the chassis. The time for repair will be included in the competitors total time.
The navigation method is GPS. There must be a sticker on each GPS with the competitors number and name (as per the start list)
If a competitor deviates from the track by more than 100 meters, they must return to initial point of the deviation point and continue the correct route from there. Retracing your route must be done very slowly and you must keep close to the right hand side.
A short uncorrected deviation from the track by more than 100 meters shall be punished with 2 hours added unto the total time.
A deviation from the track of more than 100m over a longer distance of more than 1km shall be considered as intentional and this shall be punished with 4 hour penalty.
The checking of the tracks shall be done using a precise computer program especially designed for this type of competition. At the particularly hard places to navigate (thick forest and sudden deviations from the main road) the organizer shall put additional marking such as arrows or red/white signal tape.
Each competitor must hand in a computer connection cable with their GPS. Unless it is a newer model like: Garmin 60CX, 60CSX and Zumo that use a generic micro usb cable.
The GPS must be able to record tracks with a minimum of 10000 points;
Each competitor must record the “Track Log” for use by race control.
Teams can use either one or two GPS devices.

The organizers will give the competitors three adhesive race numbers, these must be mounted on the front mask of the machine and on the side covers. The competitors are also required to allow the placement of a sticker on their machines indicating the sponsor of the competition if the organizer so imposes it.
For the prologue, the competitors classes shall start as follows:
motorbikes “Hobby” (incl +45)
Teams must finish together with a maximum gap of 30 seconds between them.
Competitive and technical control:
One hour prior the start, all the competitors and machinery must be at technical control. All the machinery must comply the standards of the STVO. The competition is made up of a prologue and four stages.
When passing through populated areas, the speed limit is 50km/h. Your speed is monitored via the GPS “track log” recording!
Check point control:
Accurate navigation of the track is monitored with both the GPS track log and control points around the track. Failure to pass through any control point is punished with a 2 hour penalty.
Prior to each control point there will be 3 yellow flags spaced at 50 meters. The monitor of the control will dressed in red signal jacket.
The competitors start the prologue by the number which is given to them on the day of the registration. The start can also be by groups, but depends on the width of the track. Each competitor or team must finish at least one race to demonstrate they are in the right classification.
Start of stages from 1 to 4:
The first stage Start position is given by the Prologue result. The second, third and fourth stage is started in accordance with the total time overall.
Break and snack:
The break shall be at an appropriate place about midway along the track. Each competitor will receive a light snack and juice/mineral water. This is a 30 minute compulsory break for everybody. After 30 minutes, the competitor can carry on.
The finishing time of Teams shall be calculated by collecting the times of both competitors.
If either team competitor does not finish before the track is closed, the team does not receive any classification.
Handing in GPS’s:
All competitors are obliged to hand in there GPS and the control certificate to the judges immediately after the finish.
If a competitor witnesses an accident, they are obliged to stop and give aid (if you have the knowledge necessary) and immediately call the organizers. Aid for technical/mechanical problems is not compulsory.
The temporary results will be announced each evening and posted in the lounge of the hotel from 21.00 hrs. Competitors have the right to contest the results for upto one hour after the results have been posted; after that the results are final.
The National Enduro Championship is open to international competitors who participate both in the distribution of prizes and awards, as well as in the distribution of scores from the championships in Bulgaria.
The Organizers reserve the right to make changes in the Rules if deemed necessary !
